Position summary

The IT Help Desk Technician position will assist the IT Director with day-to-day technology-related needs for the Memphis TN office of 45+ accounting professionals and administrative positions. This is an entry-level position, with the opportunity to learn and grow.  As an IT Technician with HHM, you will work with cutting-edge technologies from cloud computing to latest in Microsoft applications.  


  • Work collaboratively with other IT professionals as well as Firm staff
  • Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users
  • Troubleshoot common network, hardware, software and peripheral issues
  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more is required
  • Possess the skills and capabilities needed to develop positive and effective working relationships with employees at all levels
  • Reliable, organized and detail oriented
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction
  • Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast paced, highly demanding environment is required
  • Perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior internal customer service
