Amanda Steffes joined HHM CPAs as a staff accountant in 2025, after completing an internship with the firm. In her role, Amanda is responsible for preparing personal and business tax returns, drawing on her strong background in bookkeeping and attention to detail. Her eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting is complemented by her meticulous approach to work, making her a valuable asset to the firm and its clients. Prior to joining HHM, Amanda accumulated five years of experience as a loan processor for a mortgage company, followed by two years as a bookkeeper. This diverse experience has given her a solid foundation in financial management, which she transitioned into accounting. Amanda holds a Master of Accountancy degree, and she is committed to continually developing her expertise in the tax field. Outside of work, Amanda is actively involved in her community, advocating for children in foster care through CASA, and enjoys spending her free time hiking and trail running. On her days off, you’ll often find her exploring the trails with her family or planning her next adventure.
