Carter Edge joined HHM CPAs as a staff accountant in 2024 after completing two tax season internships. In his role, he is responsible for organizing client information, preparing tax returns, and ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting. Before joining full-time, Carter interned for two tax seasons at HHM, where he gained valuable experience in tax preparation and financial analysis. His ability to manage complex schedules and balance a heavy workload was sharpened during his time as a collegiate baseball player at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he developed strong time management skills and a disciplined approach to his work. Carter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). Outside of his professional life, Carter enjoys spending time outdoors, whether boating on the lake, golfing, or hiking. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Carter has lived in Chattanooga his entire life and is deeply connected to his community, having volunteered at the Chattanooga Food Bank and the Chattanooga Food Kitchen.
