Kira Wheat brings over 18 years of experience to the firm’s tax practice. As a partner, Kira assists high net worth and closely held business clients in the areas of tax consulting, tax compliance and tax planning. She is also involved in staff and project management, business development and billing. Kira’s standard of service includes meeting with clients to listen and learn their business and personal needs so that her advice is tailored to their unique situation. Prior to joining the firm, Kira gained experience at a Chicago-based public accounting firm, in private accounting at an international corporation, and spent a short time in banking. Over her career, she has developed expertise in the real estate, family office, service and investment fund industries. She has had many opportunities to work with families and their other outside advisors in interpreting, coordinating, and following their complex estate and investment plans. Kira is a graduate of North Central College with a B.A. in Accounting. In her free time, Kira enjoys time with family and spending time outdoors.
