Porter Young joined HHM CPAs in 2026 as a staff accountant with a focus on governmental and nonprofit engagements. His previous work includes a nonprofit audit internship and a graduate assistantship in internal audit at Mississippi State University, providing exposure to both areas. Porter holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Mississippi State University. He values continued learning and approaches his work with a willingness to grow and develop his skills. Originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Porter has enjoyed exploring his new home town of Chattanooga. Outside of work, he enjoys running, reading, and keeping up with college football.
