HHM CPAs Partner Cindy MacAulay Named an MBJ 2026 Super Woman in Business

HHM CPAs is proud to announce that Cindy MacAulay, CPA/CFF, CVA, MAFF, Partner in the firm’s Memphis office, has been named one of Memphis Business Journal’s 2026 Super Women in Business honorees.

Each year, Memphis Business Journal (MBJ) recognizes some of the region’s most accomplished female leaders through its Super Women in Business program. The qualities the selection committee looks for include intellect, vision, resolve, creativity, empathy, passion, energy and persistence.

MacAulay joins a class of 25 women who will be profiled in MBJ’s Oct. 16 weekly edition and honored at an in-person event at the Memphis Botanic Garden on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

“Cindy exemplifies what this recognition is about,” said Jon Paul Davis, Managing Partner of HHM CPAs’ Memphis office. “She combines an exceptional level of technical expertise with a genuine commitment to people. She has built trusted relationships throughout the Memphis business and legal communities around the region, invests deeply in mentoring others, and consistently looks for ways to use her experience to make those around her better. We are incredibly proud to have Cindy as a partner at HHM and to see her recognized alongside this outstanding group of women.”

MacAulay joined HHM CPAs as a Partner in 2024 and brings nearly 30 years of experience in forensic accounting, financial investigations, business valuation and litigation support. Throughout her career, she has advised attorneys, business owners, courts, and organizations on complex financial matters and has served as an expert witness. She has also successfully built her practice through strategic relationship-building, business development and a strong commitment to client service.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, MacAulay has made mentorship and community involvement central to her career. She has invested significant time mentoring young professionals, particularly women pursuing careers in accounting, finance and business leadership, while also serving in leadership roles with organizations throughout the Memphis community.

“I’m incredibly honored to be included in this year’s Super Women in Business class,” MacAulay said. “The opportunity to share it with such an impressive group of women is an honor.  I’m proud to be recognized alongside women who are strengthening their organizations, developing future leaders, and helping move Memphis forward.”

MacAulay currently serves as President of the Memphis Collaborative Alliance and Treasurer of Memphis Area Legal Services. She also serves on the advisory board of the Veteran Golfers Association, an organization she helped establish and support from its early years. Her community involvement has also included recognition with the Memphis Bar Association President’s Award for her contributions and leadership.

HHM CPAs congratulates Cindy and all the 2026 Super Women in Business honorees on this well-deserved recognition.
