HHM CPAS PROMOTE FOUR TO PARTNER

Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough (HHM), a full-service CPA and consulting firm with locations in Chattanooga and Memphis, Tennessee, proudly announces the promotion of four senior managers to partner in its Chattanooga office. The group of dedicated professionals, Will Clegg, Jon Paul Davis, Adam Osborne and Branden Wilson, join the firm’s growing leadership team. Clegg, Davis, Osborne, and Wilson each began their accounting careers at the firm 10 or more years ago and were named partners effective July 2018.“This group of leaders represents the growth and loyalty within our firm,” said Donnie Hutcherson, Managing Partner. “Watching the professional growth from intern and staff accountants to partners has been very rewarding. All four have been contributors to the success of HHM and each brings specific expertise valuable for the firm’s future. Naming these four as partner is one of the proudest moment of my professional career.”Will Clegg has been with HHM for 11 years and is instrumental in guiding business owners and managers through complex tax and strategic planning decisions. He provides expertise in tax, estates, trusts, and other specialized work. He has spent his professional career developing relationships with local nonprofit organizations while serving them in any way possible. Clegg currently serves on the following nonprofit boards: Memorial Health Foundation and Hospice Foundation of Chattanooga. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Finance, and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.Jon Paul Davis joined at HHM in January of 2008 as an intern in Accounting and Assurance (A&A) and Tax. Early on, Davis transitioned from A&A to the firm’s Management Advisory Services (MAS) department where he found his niche. Davis guides clients through business planning, including strategic growth decisions, forecasts, and financial modeling. He also assists clients with all stages of mergers and acquisitions, and works with high net-worth clients to provide individual tax and consulting services. Some of these services include year-end tax planning, succession planning, and estate and trust consulting. Embodying the firm’s commitment to community involvement, Davis currently serves on the board of the H*Art Gallery and on the committee of the Emerging Leaders of the United Way of Greater Chattanooga. He also spends a great deal of time training and mentoring accountants and future accountants as an adjunct professor at his alma mater. Davis graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, and received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.Adam Osborne started his accounting career 10 years ago when he began at HHM in the A&A Department. Now, he offers specialized assurance, accounting, and tax services to a variety of clients including nonprofits, churches, manufacturing and distribution companies, and dealerships. He provides more than just financial statements and becomes a part of clients’ teams by providing advice for process improvements. Osborne finds that making sure all levels of staff are good citizens is what HHM is all about. This is why he chooses to give back through his church, Christway Church, serves on the advisory board of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center; and is involved with the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce. Osborne earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lee University.Branden Wilson began his career in public accounting at HHM as an intern in January 2008. Today, Wilson provides assurance, tax and advisory services to clients of various sizes and industries. His work ethic and attention to detail have developed him into a leader within both the audit and tax departments, where he provides a broad range of services ranging from complex GAAP accounting to proactive tax planning. While much of his time is spent serving clients located within Chattanooga and the surrounding areas, his multi-state tax experience has allowed him to service clients throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast parts of the US. Wilson is active in the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce and was a past board member of the Redoubt Corporation and Chattanooga Endeavors.
