Alea Greene joined HHM in 2021 as a staff accountant. She works on individual tax returns and many other tasks that help the firm to provide exceptional service. With experience working with non-profit organizations, accounting for grants and bookkeeping, as well as her participation in negotiations for multi-year contracts, her drive to always understand why she is doing what she is doing helps her excel in whatever assignment comes her way. Originally from Ooltewah, Alea moved to Cleveland in 2019. She realized her love of working with numbers and spreadsheets early in life. She earned her undergrad in accounting from Lee University with a minor in deaf studies. During her senior year, she started her masters’ classes and graduated with an MBA the next year. She is currently studying for the CPA exam. Prior to joining HHM, Alea worked in the CFO Office and Grant’s Office at Lee University. During her free time, Alea enjoys spending time with her husband or planning their vacations. Even though she lives in Cleveland now, her parents and siblings still reside in Ooltewah.
