Emily Brown joined HHM CPAs in 2022 as a staff accountant after completing a tax season as an intern with the firm. Emily prepares tax returns and assists the Accounting and Assurance department with audit work. Emily is always willing to learn and exhibits an excellent work ethic. Prior to joining HHM CPAs, Emily worked as an office assistant handling accounts payable and receivable at a construction company. She also had an internship where she assisted in preparing cost reports for rural health clinics. Emily graduated from the University of Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in May 2022 and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration. Emily grew up in Whitwell, a small town near Chattanooga, TN. She enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, playing tennis, and golfing, as well as bonding with her friends and family.
