Jimmy Barnett first came to HHM as an intern, and has found his niche. Now a manager, he has found that his penchant for thoroughness, accuracy, and quality work are supported at HHM beyond his expectations. He finds satisfaction in providing a service that does not come naturally for everyone as he works with various businesses and gains in-depth knowledge of their industries. Prior to joining HHM, Jimmy gained experience as a fuel accounting intern with TVA, and as the bookkeeper for a local construction company. Jimmy first became interested in accounting during college, and found that it made sense to him in ways he never would have expected. He is most impressed by HHM’s culture, finding that accountants with relevant experience are willing to stop what they are doing to train those with less experience, with the result that the quality standard is raised across the firm. While at home, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his wife, running, cycling, and playing basketball.
