Payton Salas joined HHM CPAs in 2024 as a staff accountant after completing an internship at the firm. She focuses on preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses. She brings valuable experience from two busy season internships and a background in retail that deepened her interest in business accounting. A lifelong resident of Memphis, Payton graduated with her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Memphis and is pursuing her Master’s in accounting at the same institution. She views success as continual growth and learning. Outside of work, Payton enjoys watching movies, spending time on her parent’s farm, and staying active. A diehard Tennessee football fan, she also loves traveling to Guatemala, where she visits a children’s home annually. Recently married, Payton enjoys spending time with her family and their farm animals.
